THE WAR WITHIN Pt 2

THE WAR WITHIN
Part 2

Previously...

Each of these five parts has an interest in doing something and they make up the foundation of your hobbies, your lifestyle, your daily choices, and...you! This is why it sometimes feels like you're torn between two things and why decisions can be difficult. There are five parts you're working with.

In my next post join us on what each part wants versus what each part needs.

Formal Introduction
The five parts each have a name and element. Please keep in mind that these names and elements are symbolisms that will help you understand yourself and the conflicts you may be facing. The Black Diamond is Geo and it symbolizes the physical body and its element is earth, which includes all soils, minerals, and gemstones. The Red Triangle is Pyro and it symbolizes the spirit and its element is fire. The Blue Oval is Hydro and it symbolizes intelligence and its element is water. The Green Circle is Aero and it symbolizes identity and its element is air. Finally the Open Space is Ӕther or The Divine and it symbolizes Infinite Intelligence whose element is light; or it symbolizes the King Starfish whose element is shadow.

What Each Part Wants, What Each Part Needs

How lazy would you say you are? Geo wants inertia. It wants to sit heavy and motionless like a boulder. Geo is the body. It is naturally lazy, and if it gets its way it will gain weight and it will leave your home cluttered and messy. What Geo needs is to move around - it needs energy from within. Pyro is the next part in line, and it fuels and commands Geo. In order for Geo to lose weight and have a clean home (the opposite of inertia), your Pyro must be stronger than your Geo.
How unsatisfied are you? Pyro is the spirit. It wants to spread like a rampant fire. It is naturally wandering aimlessly, and if it gets its way it would never settle or be contained. This means it would never be satisfied with life or with events that come and go. What Pyro needs is an upward path to burn - staying steady in one spot but able to spread upward, instead of spreading out sideways. In order for Pyro to have a path upwards towards the light and towards Infinite Intelligence, it needs fuel to climb up on. This means you need Hydro pouring in from above you. How symbolic is that?
How familiar are you with knowledge of light? How familiar are you with scattered pieces of trivial knowledge from everywhere around you? Hydro is intelligence. It is the fuel for Pyro, the spirit. Hydro wants to freeze up like ice. Or Hydro wants to disperse like steam. Or Hydro wants to stay put and become stagnant. If frozen or dispersed or stagnant, Hydro is not a proper fuel for Pyro. It is naturally stubborn (ice), especially the longer it stays and the older it gets; it is also naturally hard to comprehend, especially the less you study it out; it is also naturally inclined to become stagnant with trivial trivia that doesn't add meaning to life. What Hydro needs is warm aeration blowing life through it. It needs enough Aero so it doesn't freeze, enough so it doesn't boil and scatter to steam, and enough so it doesn't sit and stagnate. Hydro needs to be just right.
Who are you? Aero wants to join with others' Aero. Just like in a breeze or paths of the wind are united, so does your Aero want to align with others. What Aero needs is to join with the higher flow above the clouds, not nearer to the world. Those higher-up flows are nearer to the light and to Infinite Intelligence. Up there it knows and remembers it is a child of Infinite Intelligence, and in this way it overcomes the ideas that the world has set up - ideas like cliques, ethnicities, and gangs, and other social groups that have a skin-deep meaning in life. While these ideas are not necessarily bad, though some like gangs or hate cliques are bad, they are not flying high with a pureness of identity.
In other words, to be successful at giving all four parts what they need, you must start above the clouds always, gather and pour knowledge from above to fuel yourself below so you can do the things you need to keep yourself happy, healthy, and hopeful. The war within fights against the things you need by trying to go after the things each person naturally wants. Win that war and get aligned!

THE WAR WITHIN Pt 1

THE WAR WITHIN

Part 1

The Clam Diagram
Ever feel like you're pitted against yourself? Spirit willing but flesh weak? "I need to take the trash out..." *Falls asleep instead* ?
A Split Persona

You are composed of five - sometimes competing - parts. They are body, spirit, intelligence, identity, and reality. Let's start with your physical body.
     1) Your physical body is the thing you deal with every day. It's your friend and your enemy. You wash it, feed it, dress it, clean it, tame it, and in return it takes you places and experiences things for you. Here is where you see, smell, touch, hear, and taste things. The physical body is represented by the Black Diamond of the Clam Diagram.
     2) Your spirit is the thing that leaves your physical body when you die. You can't see it and science can't detect it. Your conscience is part of it - the thing that warns you of a dangerous (morally dangerous, spiritually dangerous, and sometimes physically dangerous) situation. Your spirit is the thing that ties you to people over long distances because they know no physical boundaries. The spirit is represented by the Red Triangle of the Clam Diagram.
     3) Your intelligence is the thing that drives you to learn. It is the thing that is attracted to knowledge and light and truth. Pure intelligence is trusting and does not know shame or fear or guilt. Tiny babies are beings of pure intelligence. While it seems they are just making a mess of things to an adult's eyes, they are learning by playing - by always playing. Your intelligence is represented by the Blue Water-drop Oval of the Clam Diagram.
     4) Your identity is the thing that drives you to connect. If a baby is not given love or interaction he will wither away. Identity is the core "value" of all cliques, gangs, and family units, where cliques and gangs are a faux formation of a family unit. Identity is also the core of each human being, and they will
1) gain intelligence from and for;
2) bond their spirit to; and
3) dress, speak, and act like
those with whom they identify. Your identity is represented by the Green Circle of the Clam Diagram.
     5) Your reality is the cumulative results of your life. Your perceived status. Do you think you're rich or poor? Do you see wonder in the world around you or has the world become a dull place? Do you feel your life is at peace or is everything chaotic and there's no purpose to life? Your reality is represented by the Open Space of the Clam Diagram, and its color is either light or shadow.
